Throwback Thursday Challenge

Hello everyone! Today's post is for the Throwback Thrusday Challenge over at My Creative Time. This weeks challenge is to simply use any older cartridge and make any type of project you want to make.

I decided to use paper doll dress up. I have been wanting to make a halloween card and I figured now was the time. I cut this witch out at 3 1/2 inches, and used peachy keen simple sallies stamps.
The card base is cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 inces and scored at 4 1/4 inches. The spider paper is cut at 5 1/4 x 4 inches, that paper is from cloud 9 design seasonal pack. I got this pack at Joann Fabric, it has fall, halloween, and Christmas paper in it. The paper is very thin and I wouldn't suggest trying to cut it in the cricut, but it is great for mats on cards. The tag is made using an ek success punch and purple cardstock.

The last few touches I added were some black ribbon, the stickles on her hat, and of course I had to use my iRock and add a little jewel on the green piece around her neck.

I hope you like todays project.

Ashley :)

Tuesday Challenge "Just Because"

Hey everyone! Today's post is for the Tuesday Challenge over at Made with Momo. Today's challenge is to make a card to send to someone to let them know you are thinking about them. So I made this card. The base is paper from a s.e.i stack called chick-a-dee that I got at Hobby Lobby. The base is cut at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. The mat behind the stamped image is 3 1/2 x 3 inches.
The stamp that says special thought for you is from a set of clear stamps that I got at Hobby Lobby. I colored her using prisma colored pencils and did the shading with mineral spirits. The stamp is from C. C. Design's it is called Swiss Pixies Heidi Among The Flowers. I used my irock to add some jewesl to her hair.

I hope you all enjoyed my card for today.

Ashley :)
